Norfolk County Men's Treasurer resigns

Norfolk County Men's Secretaries Letter, 25th October 2016:-

Circulation – All Norfolk Bowls Association Men’s Club Secretaries I have to inform that after holding the position for 18 years, Stan Allcock has decided to relinquish the position of Men’s County Treasurer. As you will know Stan has had a very difficult year with illness & then a car accident. Both he and Cherry are now on the slow road to recovery but Stan has advised me that with great reluctance & disappointment he will not be able to continue as our Treasurer. Stan has been our Treasurer since 1998 and during that time has kept our finances in excellent order. He will be a very hard act to follow and I am sure you will join with me in wishing both him and Cherry well and that both have full & speedy recoveries. Your Management Committee will now need to take steps to fill this important position and I would ask if you or any of your members are interested in taking on the Treasurers role. If so then I will be happy to provide further details. I appreciate that many Clubs are now closed but I attach a Notice that seeks members with an interest in this position and if it is possible could you please display this in a prominent position at your Club.
